Rollins presents mission-driven awards to students who have embodied Rollins' mission to prevent disease and promote health locally, nationally, and globally.
These are awarded to all students who meet the required criteria and complete their SOPHAS applications. Some awards are on a first-come, first-serve basis (see award details for additional information).
Please note: RSPH Mission-Driven Scholarship awards are not cumulative. Applicants who are eligible for more than one award will receive the award that is of the greater amount.
Every year, Rollins gives out a one-time educational award of $6,000, disbursed evenly over the degree program, to any full-time AmeriCorps grads—along with Teach for America and AmeriCorps VISTA volunteers—admitted to MPH or MSPH programs. Find out more about the AmeriCorps match program on the Corporation for National & Community Service website. Because awards are not cumulative, students who are eligible for both AmeriCorps and Return Peace Corp awards will receive the latter because it is the greater of the two awards.
Emory University students enrolled in a dual degree program in the health science field will receive a 25 percent tuition scholarship for the two semesters they are in residence at Rollins. The eligible dual degree programs are nursing, the physician assistant program, and physical therapy.
Students obtaining their MD degree from an external university will receive a 25 percent tuition scholarship for the two semesters they are in residence at Rollins.
Did you complete a tour with the Peace Corps? As a thank you for your service, Rollins grants a $15,000 tuition scholarship ($3,750 per semester) to all admitted full-time students working toward their MPH or MSPH degree.
