Cristian  Ramos

I am a doctoral student at Emory University in the Health Services Research and Health Policy program on the Organizations & Management track. My research interests relate to child health equity, school-based health centers, and children covered by Medicaid. Previously, I worked as a Research Assistant for the JOIN for ME program, which provides low-income children in Rhode Island with resources that promote physical activity and a well-balanced diet. I have also worked with EverThrive Illinois as a Health Systems Intern to determine how to continue providing school-based health center services to the community during the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I obtained my Master of Public Health with a concentration in Maternal & Child Health from Brown University in 2023, and my Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University with a double major in Social Policy and Global Health Studies in 2021.
