Kimberly  Rask

Kimberly J. Rask, MD PhD is an Associate Professor in the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and Chief Data Oficer for Alliant Health, the CMS QIN-QIO for the States of Georgia and North Carolina. A magna cum laude graduate of Bryn Mawr College, she attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.  After completing her residency in Internal Medicine, she became a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar and received a doctoral degree in Health Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Her research focuses on access to health care, health promotion and outcomes measurement.  Dr. Rask has published book chapters and peer-reviewed articles on prevention practices, primary care practice, cost-effectiveness, performance improvement, and outcomes measurement.  She serves on four national expert panels for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Quality Forum (NQF). She speaks nationally on federal value-based purchasing programs and teaches graduate level classes on health outcomes and quality measurement, mentoring both graduate students and junior faculty.
