Your Email & Canvas

The following offers information about two important accounts for RSPH Students.

Your Emory Email

Your Emory email will become accessible to you 48 hours after you confirm enrollment. For instructions about how to access your Emory e-mail using DUO Two-Factor Authentication, please review the Admitted Students Checklist.

You are able to access your email offsite at email.emory.edu. Learn more about Outlook Web Access (OWA) here

The email address you submitted with your application will be the only account that RSPH will use to communicate with you until you receive your Emory email account. If your personal email address changes between now and the time the RSPH email account is created, you can easily update it in OPUS.

Please be advised, the Office of Admissions and the Associate/Assistant Directors of Academic Programs (ADAPS) send out emails to communicate about items such as impending deadlines, orientation, registration, student health insurance, etc. It is important that we have your correct personal email address (as a back up) and that you are accessing and frequently checking your Emory email.

Please note that students are not permitted to have Emory email automatically forwarded to another account.

Recent Emory Graduate?
If you are a recent graduate of Emory, your email account may have been deactivated. To continue use of your account, you may need additional assistance. Please contact the RSPH Technology Service Desk at help@sph.emory.edu or 404-727-5536.

Canvas

Canvas allows you access to the electronic course materials for all RSPH classes you are enrolled in each semester. By using any RSPH account, you agree to all policies of Emory and the RSPH, including the Statement of Computing Ethics.

Accessing Canvas is simple. Visit https://classes.emory.edu and enter your network id and password.

Your Password

Login to Mypassword and click on the "Passwords" if you would like to change your password.

Your password will change on most, but not all of your Emory University accounts. Accounts where your password will change include but are not limited to: Emory Login, Enterprise Email (OWA), VPN, DUO, OPUS, Human Resource System and Canvas to name a few.  Make sure to gather all of your mobile devices(iPhone/Android phone, tablets, iPads, etc..) prior to changing your password.   You risk locking your account if you don’t also change your password on your mobile devices after changing your password. Setting up the security questions within the Mypassword portal will allow you access to reset a forgotten  password.
