"Cultural Humility in Re-Imagining Global Health" with Medical Anthropologist Claudia Ordóñez
This class will discuss the re-imagination of global health understood through the global health equity lens promoted by Paul Farmer's model, which employs the preferential option for the poor and pragmatic solidarity to address the impact of structural violence in human health and well-being. We will also discuss how Humility, and more specifically, Cultural Humility is a key concept/approach in this model.

“Decisions in Global Health” with Dr. Juan Leon, PhD, MPH
This class will mimic the core global health course that all global students take in their first semester at Rollins. In this class, you will learn about how the best decisions are made in Global Health, including what data are commonly used to prioritize decisions. You will also learn about the role of Compassion in Global Health. There will be plenty of time after the “class” for questions.
