Rollins-teer Day

The Rollins-teer Day of Service is held each year during Orientation as an introduction to the broader public health context and communities of need in Atlanta.

This year, the Rollins School of Public Health will be celebrating 15 Years of Rollins-Teer.

Rollins-Teer Day will take place on Friday, August 19, 2022. Exact time is to be determined.

We value the safety of the Rollins School of Public Health and our local community partners. Please note that due to the ever-changing nature of the coronavirus pandemic, information may be subject to change. We appreciate your patience and flexibility.

The best way to learn about opportunities for community engagement is to participate in the Rollins-teer Day of Service, held each year during Orientation.

Students will have the opportunity to volunteer with organizations around the Atlanta area in order to gain a better understanding of the broader public health context and communities of need in Atlanta.  We are pleased to continue partnerships with many local organizations as well as to add several new sites that will connect incoming students to the Atlanta community with ways to stay involved in important public health issues in our own backyard.

This day is a great opportunity to develop new friendships, connect with local organizations, and make a difference.

Incoming students will be able to register for their Rollins-Teer Site when they register for Orientation. Additional information about Orientation pre-registration may be found here

A list of site partners will become available in July 2022.
