No course credit is allowed for an F, W, WF, WU, IP, I and AUD. Two tentative notations may be given. When a course, seminar or research activity is intended to last more than one semester, the notation IP (in progress) is made at the end of the grading period until the final grade is given. An incomplete (I) is issued when a student does not complete assigned course work during the prescribed period. A student having two (2) or more incompletes will not be permitted to register for additional courses without special permission from the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Incomplete grades automatically convert to an "IF" if the student does not satisfactorily complete the course within the time allowed by the instructor, with a maximum of one traditional academic semester (fall or spring), and the student may be required to repeat the course.
