Student Employment

  • Rollins Earn And Learn (REAL) Student Employment (50% RSPH/50% Institutional (Emory) Funding or Organization Funding): Rollins Earn and Learn employment is partially funded by the Rollins School of Public Health. For the 2015-2016 academic year, 50% of an eligible student's wages (up to the student's award maximum) will be paid by RSPH, while the remaining 50% of wages (up to the award maximum and any amount earned above the limit) will be paid by the department or organization employing the student. REAL student employees may work either on-campus or at select approved off-campus or remote sites.
  • Multiple Employments: Students are allowed employment in only one position funded through the Rollins Earn And Learn at a given time. However, a student employee may hold both a Rollins Earn And Learn position and a non-REAL position simultaneously. Additionally, within the same semester, students may not use part of their award with one position and the remainder with another position.
