The Georgia Latino Health Award

The Georgia Latino Award supports RSPH students in gaining applied public health experience at the community-level through service to an organization working to improve the health and well-being of the Georgia Latino population. This award program is sponsored and administered by the Rollins School of Public Health and the student-led Health Organization for Latin America (HOLA). The award provides financial assistance to students who propose to work with a Latino-serving organization as part of their summer practicum.

Students can apply to receive funding for a specific opportunity that they themselves have identified or receive funding for an existing opportunity to which they will be matched. Each year, application instructions for the award become available in the winter. Applications are due in the spring. To learn more, contact the HOLA Board at hola.emory@gmail.com.
