Past Work in Latino/Hispanic Health:
U.S.A.: In 1996, Dr. Pachón conducted her Master's thesis in New York City on infant nutrition among Latinos.
Latin America: From 2006 - 2011, Dr. Pachón lived Latin America while conducting biofortification research.
Current Work in Latino/Hispanic Health:
She is providing technical support to the Colombian government in the planning of its 2015 national nutrition survey. And, will be engaging Rollins students in analysis of Colombia's 2005 and 2010 national nutrition surveys.
Opportunities for Students:
When Dr. Pachón was based in South America, she mentored 25 students from different countries in their research projects.
