Welcome to the Department of Health Policy & Management at Emory's Rollins School of Public Health.
The Department of Health Policy & Management (HPM) offers courses of study leading to the masters of public health (MPH) and the master of science in public health (MSPH) degrees through the Rollins School of Public Health, and the doctor of philosophy (PhD) degree through the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. The HPM department offers a MPH in both a management track and a policy track. We also offer a residential MSPH in health policy research.
With the recent passage of the health care reform package, we have rededicated ourselves to training the next generation of leadership to take on the new challenges associated with this reform. Issues such as prevention, health care payment, quality of health care, and health insurance exchanges will require academics and practitioners at all levels to be prepared with state-of-the-art, cutting edge training. Our masters, doctoral and dual-degree programs are designed to do just that.
Today’s public health issues are indeed complex, but the Rollins School of Public Health remains at the forefront of efforts to benefit the health of populations worldwide. I can’t think of a more exciting time to be in public health. Please consider joining us as we create solutions and policies to address the most pressing public health problems of our time.
Again, thank you for visiting. We hope to see you at Emory very soon.
