Before coming to Rollins: I worked for a year at an electronic medical record company in Madison, Wisconsin, and for 811 - Call Before You Dig for a year in Minneapolis.

Why I chose Rollins: I was excited to move to Atlanta and was extremely impressed by the people at Rollins when I came to Visit Emory.

Why I chose EH: I was always interested in the intersection of the environment and human health. Without a healthy environment, people do not have the opportunity to live healthy lives.

Research interests: Environmental Epidemiology, Disease Ecology, Food and Waterborne Diseases

Career goals: I would love to work for the CDC after graduation.

Three favorite things about Rollins:
1. The people!
2. The ability to meet and hear from leaders in public health.
3. The view of Atlanta from the 8th floor of CNR.

Favorite classes: Microbiology of Food and Waterborne Diseases, all of my epidemiology courses, GIS

Clubs and extracurriculars: REHAC, Rollins softball league, internship at the CDC, and TA for Environmental Hazards

Advice for prospective students: Come to the event, Visit Emory! It gives you a great perspective on the people and opportunities you will have when you come to Rollins.

My favorite thing about Atlanta is: The food!
