Community Advisory Board (CAB) – assists the Office of Career Development in understanding how the needs of employers can be met by the talent, skills, and knowledge of RSPH graduates. This group is composed of representatives from institutions that are the employers, potential employers and practicum preceptors of RSPH students. The board meets at RSPH to discuss the performance of current students and graduates and how training programs can be adjusted to help students better develop competencies that the work environment requires or desires. The CAB shares this information with programs and administrators who use this information in periodic evaluations of their training programs and the revision of its competencies.
The Rollins School of Public Health (RSPH) Community Advisory Board (CAB) aims to provide meaningful and extensive discussion with public health employers and community leaders from the non-profit, public, and private sectors on the critical skills necessary for today's public health professionals and how RSPH can better integrate these skills into its academic programs and training opportunities. Bi-annual meetings will aid RSPH in forecasting future academic needs and gauging professional readiness, thus providing the public health field with a valuable work force of competitive and skilled RSPH graduates.

A Guide for Professional Skill Development (2012) - From professional observations and recent graduate surveys, CAB drafted a list of skills and experiences associated with the eight Domains of Public Health identified by the Council on Linkages between Academia and Public Health Practice.
