Get Involved

Make an impact on Rollins and expand your public health network by volunteering, mentoring, or attending one of our alumni events.

Please reach out to sphalumni@emory.edu if you'd like to learn more about leadership positions within each regional alumni network.

Across the country and around the world, the RSPH Alumni Association and Emory Alumni Association connect alumni to the university and to each other through regional chapters and interest groups.

Join one of Emory's professional or affinity groups to meet and network with alumni across all disciplines. Or join one of the Rollins-led groups below to help keep our alumni network strong in your town!

Rollins Entrepreneur Network Logo

The Rollins Entrepreneur Network LinkedIn group is an informal space for entrepreneurial students and alumni of the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University to share ideas, workshop problems, connect with each other, and provide support. Whether you're just starting in your entrepreneurial journey or you're a well-established business owner, we welcome you and are glad that you are here!

The RSPH Alumni Association strives to create programs and services that provide our alumni with meaningful opportunities to produce, strengthen, and maintain connections with fellow Rollins alumni and the Emory community at large. A few opportunities include:

Rollins Alumni Community Committee

Members plan a variety of community outreach programs and events for fellow alumni throughout the year to increase the interactions between local and out-of-town alums.

Rollins Alumni Communications Committee

If you like to write and are social media savvy, this is the committee for you! You’ll keep your fellow alums informed through emails, newsletters, and updates to the alumni website.

Rollins Alumni Ambassadors

If you constantly find yourself talking about Rollins, you could be a good fit as a Rollins Alumni Ambassador. You’ll welcome accepted students, serve as a panelist or speaker, plan networking events for students, assist in planning our Washington DC study tour, and more! The commitment is flexible, so you can help out when you have time.

RSPH Alumni Association Board

Give back to Rollins by serving on the RSPH Alumni Association Board. Among the Board's priorities are promoting the mission of the school, building the alumni community, and expanding educational and career options for current students. Apply here!

Rollins' mentorship program runs each January through May. As a mentor, you'll provide career guidance to first-year public health students through regular communication (phone, in-person, or via email at least once every two weeks). To become a mentor, you need a bachelor’s degree and three years experience (or an advanced degree in a related field) working in the pubic health sector, a good attitude, and the desire to inspire.

Our Pathways to Public Health series, professional development workshops, career panels, and webinars offer a variety of ways for you to share your professional experiences with other alumni, tell your personal public health journey, and offer general career advice to our students. Most sessions last one hour, are small and informal, and can be done from just about anywhere!

Rollins alumni are always invited to join us at local and regional events sponsored by the RSPH Alumni Association and the Emory Alumni Association, as well as school-wide events at Rollins. Check the Rollins event calendar and Emory Alumni Association event calendar often to see what’s happening near you. Interested in organizing an event in your region? Please email sphalumni@emory.edu.
