Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Science of Public Health (MSPH)
RSPH is a participating school in SOPHAS (Schools of Public Health Application Service), a common application service. The initial phase of the application process is managed by SOPHAS. Once complete, your application is forwarded to the RSPH Office of Admission. If you have specific questions related to degree programs, scholarship deadlines, decision letters, etc., please contact the RSPH Office of Admission at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Application Deadline for MPH and MSPH Fall 2014 Admission: January 3, 2014.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis after January 3rd depending on the availability of space in the department to which the applicant has applied.
Note: Merit-based awards offered by RSPH are given based upon academic achievement and potential for excellence in public health. To receive priority consideration for merit-based awards, your application with SOPHAS must be complete with all supporting documents by January 3rd. All applicants who wish to receive priority consideration for merit scholarships must have test scores reported to RSPH by the deadline. SOPHAS receives an extremely high volume of applications between December 15th and February 1st. See the SOPHAS website for information regarding application processing timelines.
MD/MPH Dual Degree Program
If you are an Emory Medical School student applying to the MD/MPH dual degree program, please contact email@example.com for next steps. Please DO NOT apply through SOPHAS.
If you are a medical student at another accredited medical school and are applying for the MD/MPH program you may begin applying through SOPHAS by clicking the link in the MPH/MSPH box above. However, please see the External MD/MPH page for additional requirements.
Note: If you already hold a medical degree, you are not eligible for the dual degree program. Please apply to the MPH or MSPH program through SOPHAS.
If you are applying to PhD programs in Behavioral Sciences, Biostatistics, Environmental Health Sciences, Epidemiology or Health Services Administration, please contact the Laney Graduate School.
