Rollins is in a city filled with opportunities that allow for excellent hands-on public health experience on the local, state, and federal level. I know that the opportunities I have had here at Rollins could not have been gained elsewhere. Nicole Standberry |
Over 20% of students obtain practical experience with federal agencies like the CDC while still in school, while others find opportunities in organizations ranging from Delta Airlines to international hospitals and health departments. Paid assistantships and work study positions allow students to work side-by-side with world-renowned researchers in all core public health disciplines.
Practicum opportunities provide a real world public health experience enabling students to transition from academic to professional life. Financial assistance has been made available to over 200 students over the last 5 years for student-initiated summer research projects in international settings.
Opportunities are available locally, nationally, and globally.
