The school's academic programs and faculty are organized into six departments headed by chairs appointed by the Dean. Rollins offers six professional MPH degree options, most offering concentrations within them. Additional degrees (MSPH and Doctoral), dual-degree, special degree, and distance learning programs are also available.

The school's centers, programs and institutes contribute to the interdisciplinary research, teaching, and service activities at the Rollins School of Public Health. They allow the school to expand expertise and respond to community needs, provide the opportunity for research collaboration with faculty from other schools and professionals in public health practice, and give students exposure to other disciplines.
