Departments

The school's academic programs and faculty are organized into six departments headed by chairs appointed by the Dean. Rollins offers six professional MPH degree options, most offering concentrations within them. Additional degrees (MSPH and Doctoral), dual-degree, special degree, and distance learning programs are also available.

BSHE

Behavioral Sciences and Health Education

BSHE is committed to applying a broad spectrum of behavioral and social science knowledge, theory and methods to promote health, prevent disease and improve quality of life.
BIOS

Biostatistics & Bioinformatics

BIOS develops, applies, and interprets analytical methods based on the motivating science, available data, and underlying theories of mathematics, probability, statistics, and computer science.
EH

Environmental Health

The Department of EH's ultimate goal is to protect and promote human health by providing a healthy environment.
EPI

Epidemiology

The EPI department's mission is to improve public health by advancing knowledge on the causes of diseases and the promotion of health through research and education.
HPM

Health Policy & Management

The Department of HPM helps students acquire the knowledge needed to understand and improve public health challenges domestically and globally.
GH

Hubert Department of Global Health

The Hubert Department of Global Health seeks to strengthen the capacities of individuals, families, communities and governments by identifying and reducing global inequities in health and well-being.

Centers

The school's centers, programs and institutes contribute to the interdisciplinary research, teaching, and service activities at the Rollins School of Public Health. They allow the school to expand expertise and respond to community needs, provide the opportunity for research collaboration with faculty from other schools and professionals in public health practice, and give students exposure to other disciplines.
