Research Interests:

Utilizing computerized patient record system & clinical decision support to develop a computerized surveillance of antimicrobial use, nosocomial infections, potential risk factors, pathogens & their antimicrobial susceptibility patterns in Atlanta VAMC

Development of prevention strategies & guidelines to reduce the risk of nosocomial infections & antimicrobial resistance in acute or chronic health-care settings
