Project ACTS:  About Choices in Transplantation and Sharing
National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases
10 years
The initial project developed and tested the effectiveness of a culturally-sensitive organ and tissue donation intervention for African American families and clergy of African American religious organizations.  A follow-up project refined the intervention video and written materials and is testing the effectiveness of the refined intervention at impacting donation-related intentions among non church-recruited African American adults.

Living ACTS
