The Office of Career Services is committed to providing advisement and programs designed to assist Rollins School of Public Health students and alumni in the career development process. The Office works with students in exploring career options, developing skills, and locating employment resources and information in order for them to gain a competitive advantage in building a successful public health career. Through strong ties with alumni and corporate and community relationships, Career Services provides networking resources and opportunities designed to promote the success of students and graduates in the job market.

Our bi-annual Mock Interview & Networking Night allows students to practice interviewing skills in a supportive environment and to gain feedback on skills of critical importance to future public health careers. Public health professionals will serve as mock interviewers, and will perform two 30-minute mock interviews during the event. A networking reception with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will also take place after the mock interviews.
Dochyta Falcon, renowned activist for health and human rights, will discuss the challenges and successes of working to improve the health status of rural populations and health systems in Nicaragua. Her presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with Emory faculty and Maria Azuri, a seasoned health educator and activist from the Feminist Women's Health Center who has worked extensively in the field of Latino/a reproductive and sexual health.
