Alumni Services & Benefits


Alumni of the Rollins School of Public Health can take advantage of a variety of services available through the School and University. Please note that many of the services require an EmoryCard/Alumni I.D. The EmoryCard costs $8/year and is available in room 214E, Dobbs University Center (DUC). Office hours are 9AM-5PM, Monday-Friday. Call the Emory/Card office at (404) 727-0224 for more information


Services open to RSPH alumni

Computer Labs - Emory University Health Sciences Center Library
Alumni may use the services of the Health Sciences Center Library. There is limited web access to the library's resources through Public Health Info Links. However, access to all on-line services, including OVID, is available from computer terminals in the library. To gain entrance to the Health Sciences Center Library, you must have a valid EmoryCard/Alumni I.D. Also visit the Media Services and the Learning Lab website. 

Public Health Career Services
Alumni seeking help with their careers can access a great deal of information from the Career Services web site. Additional resources open to all RSPH graduates include free membership to an electronic listserv that disseminates daily job postings and other relevant announcements and ongoing alumni networking information.

Located in the Rollins School of Public Health on the 1st floor, Career Services is open Monday-Friday, 9AM - 5PM. Alumni who have graduated within the past five years may schedule an appointment by contacting the RSPH Office of Career Services at 404.727.9957 or emailing careerservices@sph.emory.edu.

Public Health Continuing Education
The School offers a variety of courses, many of which offer continuing education credits. Alumni can register for courses provided by the Southeastern Institute for Training and Evaluation (SITE) and the Blomeyer Teaching and Resource Center. Public Health Magazine and Alumni Newsletter
All alumni receive a copy of the School's Public Health Magazine and RSPH Alumni Newsletter. Portions of previous issues are also available on the web at:

General Services

All RSPH alumni also enjoy the privileges offered through the Emory Alumni Association (EAA). These include the Emory Online Community (see below), Emory Magazine, general career services, access to computing labs and libraries, ticket and membership discounts, special rates at Emory Federal Credit Union, use of the George W. Woodruff Physical Education Center, ordering of transcripts and more!

EAA Online Community - Eagle Net

Emory's Online Community offers an online alumni directory, permanent E-mail address for life, career networking services, online discussion groups, chapter pages, yellow/white pages, and personal home pages. Emory E-Connection

Emory's professional networking tool designed to connect you to your alma mater, employers, and your fellow Emory alumni. E-Connection is exclusive to the Emory community and gives you access to Fortune 500 companies who want to hire you, Emory alumni and students in your area, job function and industry, exclusive events, and the ability to connect with classmates, friends, and business contacts.

Travel & Learning

Long after we have left the classroom, we're still ready and eager to learn.  The EAA's Lifelong Learning opportunities range from monthly book clubs to film series to day-long workshops or even travel abroad with the Emory Travel Program.  Dedicated to giving travelers enriching cultural experiences, the Emory Travel Program is enhances lifelong education while strengthening alumni connections with each other and to Emory.
