Master of Divinity or Master of Theological Studies / Master of Public Health

The combination masters programs in Theology and Public Health prepares students to use a theological foundation when working in the field of public health.

Length of Program:
MDiv/MPH: May be completed in four years—Years 1, 3 and 4 are spent at the School of Theology (minimum 86 credits); Year 2 at RSPH (minimum 32-35 credits)

MTS/MPH: May be completed in three years: Years 1 and 3 are spent at the School of Theology (minimum 51 credits); Year 2 at RSPH (minimum 32-35 credits)

Career Opportunities:
Public health professional who hold the MPH dual degree with MDiv or MTS are trained to work in the public health area within the context of religion and the theological knowledge to enhance health programs for special populations.

Applying to Dual Degree Programs
Students must apply to and be accepted into each school separately in order to be eligible for a dual degree.
