JD/MPH: Law and Public Health

Students in the JD/MPH program learn to advocate and create public health program and policies, as well as develop expertise in public health related legal issues.

Length of Program:

  • May be completed in seven semesters
  • First year at the School of Law
  • Year 2 at RSPH (minimum 32 credit hours)

Career Opportunities: The JD/MPH program prepares students to advise and advocate for public health departments, organizations, private NGOs, individuals, and communities.

Applying to Dual Degree Programs
Students must apply to and be accepted into each school separately in order to be eligible for a dual degree.
