Making Sense of Large-Scale Omics Data

Join faculty members (Yijuan Hu, Steve Qin, and Hao Wu) with research focus on the general direction of bioinformatics will present their recent works on developing statistical methods and computational tools for analyzing “high-throughput” genetics and genomics data. These data are big, messy and complex, which require rigorous and efficient methods for analysis. They will demonstrate the power of statistical modeling in biomedical “big data”, and how the methods can make an impact on public health and clinical research.

Couple your MPH or MSPH with a specific specialization or certificate. Join faculty and representatives to learn about the Injury and Violence Prevention Certificate Program and opportunities for students.

The Injury and Violence Prevention certificate program uses an interdisciplinary approach to train and mentor graduate students enrolled at Emory University. Students in this program have the unique experience to prepare for leadership positions in the injury, violence, and overdose prevention field.

Our tracks are designed to work with your lifestyle. Earn an MPH through online and limited on-campus sessions. Join us to learn more about the EMPH program's two track offerings—Applied Epidemiology and Prevention Science and how our students engage in the work of COVID-19 research and combating spread.


On-Campus Admissions Information Sessions



This 2-hour session includes:

  • Informational overview of the school and the admission process
  • Student ambassador-led school tour
  • Q&A session
  • One-on-one time with a program advisor

Check-in will begin at 9:45 AM and the program will be held from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Please note these sessions only cover the MPH and MSPH programs. For information on our PhD programs, please click here. Please note: Session is limited to 50 attendees.
