Through research projects in the United States and around the world, the Center for Global Safe Water uses its strengths to address local needs for safe and affordable water and sanitation solutions. Multidisciplinary teams of Emory faculty and students link with researchers and program staff from partner organizations to test and evaluate novel interventions and implementation strategies that will increase the adoption of water treatment and sanitation technologies and improve prospects for sustainability. CGSW also collaborates with other organizations to identify and conduct specific projects.
